#squola_pubblica

Practical, poetical, political, #squola_pubblica is a participatory art project that develop a new educational method to use art as a research model.

Following the school emergency created by Covid19, Marcella Vanzo develops #squola_pubblica, a project in different forms: free digital labs for children in Milanese primary schools during the first quarantine of the pandemic, kids art labs for the Public Program of Pirelli Hangar Bicocca and eventually a teacher training course .

Vanzo collaborates with Pirelli Hangar Bicocca, one of the most important European museums, together with the Education Sciences Department at Bicocca University, for the first edition of #squola Pubblica as a teacher training course.

Participatory art, performativity and art as a research method are the three fundamental contents of this project.

She then collaborates with Contemporary Locus art association, and the Education Sciences Department at Bergamo University, for the second edition of #squola Pubblica teacher training course.
